Class A CDL Driver

MW Collins is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our growing team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks for hauling wood waste, debris, and equipment to and from job sites. Our drivers play a critical role in supporting municipal, contractor, and disaster relief operations — helping us deliver top-tier service with every load.
Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including dump trailers, walking floors, and lowboys

  • Transport wood waste, equipment, and materials to and from project locations

  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles

  • Maintain accurate driving logs and follow DOT regulations

  • Communicate with dispatch and on-site crews to ensure timely pickups and deliveries

  • Assist with loading/unloading materials when necessary

  • Follow company safety protocols at all times

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record

  • Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred

  • Experience with hauling debris, trailers, or equipment a plus

  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends during emergency response

  • Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
